The best Lithuanian book for children ‘2017 Siberian Haiku was created by two authors: Jurga Vilė (text) and Lina Itagaki (illustrations). That’s why there are two award winner’s acceptance speeches in the beginning of the issue of “Rubinaitis”. Further presentation of new books is given in the SURVEYS caption. Vilija Dailidienė carefully analyzes non-fiction books by the Lithuanian authors, and Dalia Karatajienė presents new illustrations by the Lithuanian artists. Neringa Mikalauskienė discusses the most important translations for children and YA into Lithuanian. ARTICLES section pays attention to classics.
