SUMMARY
ICBD message and poster created this year by the Lithuanian artist Kęstutis Kasparavičius opens the present issue of “Rubinaitis”.
The motive of the poster is “Books help us to slow down”. The main publications of the SURVEYS caption are dedicated to the new books by the Lithuanian authors, published during 2018. So called realistic prose, literary fairy tales and fantasies as well as poetry for children are discussed by Eglė Baliutavičiūtė, Goda Baranauskaitė-Dangovienė and Lina Buividavičiūtė. Director of Children’s and Youth literature department of the National library Aldona Augustaitienė is the guest of the section READINGS OF MY CHILDHOOD, she is interviewed by Gintarė Adomaitytė. Prof. Džiuljeta Maskuliūnienė wrote article about “The Wind in the Willows”, dedicated to the 160th anniversary of Kenneth Grahame. BIBLIOGRAPHY and CHRONICLES traditionally are prepared by Roma Kišūnaitė.
