Some negative features of design of books for children are mentioned in the INTRODUCTORY of the present issue of the magazine. Three articles are published in the ARTICLES section. Professor Gražina Skabeikytė-Kazlauskienė carefully analyses literary fairy tales by Aldona Liobytė and compares them with folk-tales. Gymnasium teacher Rita Karpavičienė discusses YA books, in which incurables are pictured as main characters. Audrius Musteikis characterizes and appreciates illustrations by Rasa Dočkutė (1938–2012). Essay by Inga Mitunevičiūtė is dedicated to the jubilee of the Russian author Daniil Charms. READINGS OF MY CHILDHOOD is prepared by Džiuljeta Maskuliūnienė, who interviews very famous musician, conductor Saulius Sondeckis. New fantasy by Neringa Vaitkutė is reviewed by Aleksandra Strelcova-Kelpšė. Roma Kišūnaitė compiled list of jubilees of children’s authors and illustrators.
