SUMMARY
The last book for YA by Gendrutis Morkūnas (1960–2009) was awarded as the best book of 2010 year. Kęstutis Urba asks in the Introductory: „Why Gendrutis Morkūnas?“ REVIEWS section contains three publications: Aleksandra Strelcova and Gintarė Adomaitytė characterize the most important translations for children and teenagers, Dalia Karatajienė analyses the most impressive new illustrations of children’s books published in 2010. Loreta Žvironaitė presents works by Annie M. G. Schmidt, the article is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the author. Alongside Schmidt’s H. C.
