SUMMARY
This issue is dedicated to the Estonian Children’s Literature, and our colleagues from the country which celebrated Centenary of its Independence this year helped us very much. Mare Müürsepp wrote about extraordinary phenomenon – Family of Children’s authors, i. e. Eno Raud, Aino Pervik and Piret Raud. Jaanika Palm presents and characterizes works for children by Andrus Kivirähk. Viive Noor “demonstrates” just beautiful panorama of the Estonian illustrations. Young Lithuanian IBBY member Viktorija Pukėnaitė researched Estonian books translated into Lithuanian and wrote interesting essay about it. The most experienced and talented translator from Estonian into Lithuanian Danutė Sirijos Giraitė is the quest of our traditional caption READINGS OF MY CHILDHOOD and she is interviewed by Audrius Musteikis. Three short tales for children by Estonian authors one can find in the section LET’S READ TOGETHER, MOTHER, FATHER!
