SUMMARY

Eglė Baliutavičiūtė in her article writes about Horror literature for children and YA. She describes main features of the genre and characterizes some books translated into Lithuanian. Two publications are dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the famous author Vytautė Žilinskaitė: Diana Gancevskaitė presents thoughts and feelings of some admirers of the author’s works and Laimutė Adomavičienė carefully analyses one her book. Audrius Musteikis interviewed translator and editor Bronė Balčienė in the caption READINGS OF MY CHILDHOOD. Five new books are reviewed in the section AT A CLOSER LOOK. Secondary school teacher Rita Karpavičienė interchanges her experience of reading promotion among her pupils. Short list of events is prepared by Roma Kišūnaitė.
