SUMMARY
Kęstutis Urba in the Introductory pays attention and characterizes the series of books „10+“, which played important role in the production of books for teenagers. The 50th book was just published in the series.
The Articles section contains two publications. Loreta Jakonytė analyses the motive of Future in the Lithuanian fiction for children of the first postwar decade, and Maria Nikolajeva discusses New Masculinities and New Femininities in the Swedish YA Fiction Towards the 21st century.
The 140th Birth Anniversary of Rudyard Kipling was the reason to present three works of the author, almost unknown to the Lithuanian readers. Jurgita Sajevičienė writes about „Captains Courageous“, Asta Plechavičiūtė presents „Stalky & Co“, and Neringa Mikalauskienė surveys „Puck of Pookʼs Hill“.
The art critic Ingrida Korsakaitė is the best expert of childrenʼs bookʼs illustrations. Her father was very famous literary man and her mother wrote fiction for adults as well as for children. So Ingrida spent all her childhood among books and tells about this and later periods of her life to Alma Valantinienė. (The caption Books of my Childhood.)
Five books are reviewed in Reviews section. The caption Bibliography contains additional list of recomended books for different ages, compiled by Kęstutis Urba.
